What we do

Our approach

Pitch 2 Progress takes an innovative approach to engaging young people, both on and off the pitch.

Using recreational sports and activities as our entry point, we build relationships with young people understand their needs and challenges and try to provide bespoke support for each and every individual young person. We also provide workshops and mentoring on crucial topics aimed at supporting their growth and progression.

So far, we’ve helped over 400 young people – 95% of which were from minority ethnic backgrounds. We’re Home Office approved as a national provider of safeguarding interventions, and have worked with a range of organisations in supporting young people, including Birmingham City Council, West Midlands Violence Reduction unit and the Police and Crime Commissioner and Street Games.

Our Supporters

Our work is a group effort and couldn’t be done without the help of many organisations. From financial support to specialist expertise, resources and creating awareness for what we do, Pitch 2 Progress wouldn’t be possible without them.
